    The G Band Senior Specialist Business Analyst role is based within Technology Business Unit .

    The role of the Senior Specialist Business Analyst is to ensure that user requirements for the business are technically understood, documented, developed, tested and delivered on in line with user expectations within agile environment for Chatbot and Robotics Process Automation Implementation within Vodacom.

    This role is responsible for creating and estimating user and technical stories.

    Your responsibilities will include :

    To perform business analysis and design activities by assessing requirements for Chatbot and RPA in terms of feasibility, impact and cost, thereby assisting to create and compile accurate user stories, derivation of business rules, customer journeys, MVPs and ensure this is well documented.

    Estimate user and technical stories to help inform and prioritize backlog

    To provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value added solutions.

    To research / investigate current industry trends and standards in terms of technologies deployed / planned to be deployed and how that can enhance / optimise systems.

    To act as a technical liaison between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.

    To ensure that projects are delivered according to requirements, specified designs and that the technical and business teams are aligned around the same objectives and deliverables.

    To ensure that solutions are delivered through the agile delivery processes and to support the technical scrum teams with the delivery of solutions e.

    g. facilitation of configuration, testing, rollout coordination.

    To research, define and maintain industry best practices

    To maintain, re-evaluate, optimise or automate existing business processes

    To create reports and feedback to executive and line management

    To perform quality assurance across business analysis documentation, vendor documentation, proposals, technical designs, test documentation and operational handover documentation

    To partake in all of the key agile ceremonies within the team in order to contribute to the successful delivery of Chatbot and RPA Solutions

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

    Complex business analysis cases

    Group facilitation sessions

    Chatbot and Robotics Process Automation technical environment

    Creating digital customer journeys ensuring great customer experience across digital platforms like Chatbot and RPA

    Change control procedures

    Agile Methodologies

    Project management fundamentals

    Artificial Intelligence Technology / Industry trends

    Business analysis methods

    Key performance indicators :

    Ensure the timeous delivery of specifications for Enhancements, Configuration, Product and Requirement analysis and Projects

    Ensure that all Programme Increment projects are completed according to the scope of work and agreed quality standard by the time scales agreed and provide post-implementation support

    Implementation of Business Process Improvements / re-engineering that would add significant value to the business

    The ideal candidate for this role will have :

    Matric / Grade 12 essential

    3 Year Degree or Diploma in Information Technology / Business Analysis / Project Management essential

    5-8years business analysis / systems analysis experience preferably in a highly complex development environment essential

    Agile methodology and experience preferred

    The base location for this role is Century City, Cape Town
