Summary : Performs a variety of duties to provide technical support to the customer at N’djamena Airport, Chad. Possesses in-
depth knowledge and skill in the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of ISR systems suite mission systems and electronic equipment.
Maintains, repairs, tests and / or calibrates various types of aircraft electronic equipment. Applies technical knowledge for both aircraft and electronic principles and strong knowledge in troubleshooting techniques to determine mission equipment malfunctions and restore aircraft full operational status.
Performs work in accordance with technical manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and written / verbal instructions.
Follow on duties will include training foreign personnel on the aircraft and mission systems, as well as providing technical support on the assigned aircraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Physical Demands : This maintenance classification activity is usually accomplished in a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50lbs. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close and peripheral vision, and acceptable depth perception.
Work Environment : The diversity of working conditions range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc.
May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards exist.
Licensing, Certification Requirements :
