Â· The QHSE Systems Manager will improve and update our current ISO 9001 : 2015 and will implement ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 systems going forward Â· Assures compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, policies and procedures related to Quality and EHS.
Â· Drive continual improvement by recommending actions or policies that result in cost reduction, efficiencies or increased profitability to the company.
Â· Support the organization with strategy deployment and KPI leadership management Â· Lead the CAPA process implementation and sustain the process via CAPA board meetings Â· Be a technical resource to guide site management in their responsibilities for EHS.
Â· Implement and maintain the program for protection of employees and regulatory compliance regarding chemical hazards, audits, waste disposal and other safety and environmental aspects.
Â· Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all team members within a busy manufacturing and service environment.
Manage company Safety file. Â· Manages near miss, incident and accident reports to ensure that root cause is determined and corrective actions are implemented.
Â· Works as part of the Quality / EHS leadership team to develop and deploy global policies and programs. Â· Control the day-
to-day operations including auditing, meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems Â· Develops and implements EHS training Â· Conducts risk reviews, compliance audits and internal assessment of facility Â· Evaluate and analyze quality issues in the production and introduce corrective and preventive actions Â· Drive Customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints Â· Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration into core operations Â· Collection, analysis and reporting of QMS metrics Â· Work in partnership with senior and site management to develop and implement strategies, policies, and services to increase employee safety & reduce organization risks Â· Conduct Continuous Improvement processes to improve processes and procedures Minimum Qualifications Â· A Bachelor Degree in Quality Management / Industrial Engineering is required.
5 years of relevant working experience in Quality / EHS / Engineering management Competencies / Behavioral Â· Flexibility Â· Influence & Persuasion Â· Unwavering quality / EHS ethics Â· Leadership Â· Quality Management experience within the chemical manufacturing industry Â· Should be familiar with ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management Standard, OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management, ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental Management Â· Be comfortable developing the Companys QHSE systems and encouraging a culture of excellence and compliance Â· Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the above standards, relevant legislation and compliance requirements Â· Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company Â· Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems Â· Possess strong planning, organizational, teamwork and presentation skills Â· Be computer literate with Microsoft Office to a proficient level with good typing skills
