Education, Skills and Experience

  • Grade 12
  • Min N3 Technical qualification
  • Recognized Sales and / or Marketing Qualification
  • 3 -5 years of experience in selling and specifying solar systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable car essential
  • Computer literacy( MS Office Suite & SAP)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Portray professional image
  • Key Role Responsibilities :

  • Visit customers and potential new customers according to a set daily calling cycle
  • Analyze and provide feedback on buying patterns of customers in a geographical area
  • Assess and manage all warranty claims, according to set policies & procedures
  • Build and sustain great customer service levels and business relationships
  • Training of customers to ensure customers are kept up to date with technical product changes
  • Implementation of new marketing and promotion ideas and assist customers in aligning their strategy with that of the Company marketing strategy
  • Determine the customer requirement regarding POS material per customer
  • Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential
  • New business opportunities by identifying potential dealers and distributors
  • Canvassing and opening of new customer accounts based on their viability as future customers
  • Update customer database by providing new information regarding new customers
  • Monthly reporting and meetings with the Business Development Manager
  • Maintain and monitor market share monthly
  • Grow market share to budget requirements ensuring target achievement
  • Ensuring that discounts are managed per set parameters
