Cape Town - My client based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a Writer / Communications Coordinator on a 6-month contract.
The Writer / Communications Coordinator works with stakeholders to produce content, in keeping with the company writing style and standards, that provides information and insights to our customers.
Responsibilities : Maintain the company Help Centre as a reliable and comprehensive source of information that customers value.
Uphold consistent formatting, writing style and standards. Optimise searchability to ensure that customers find the information they need, quickly.
Analyse usage data to identify the need for new articles or refinements to existing articles. Prepare and co-ordinate the sending of ad hoc operational comms according to the needs of the service team.
Maintain and optimise any templates and transactional mailers used by the service team. Skills : Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Ability to simply convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
Comfortable with working in a dynamic environment, with the broad subject matter, including technical concepts. Ability to work independently.
Requirements : 3 years of relevant working experience Portfolio of example work Experience in the web hosting industry is an advantage Knowledge of HTML and WordPress is an advantage
