A reputable automotive company in Johannesburg North is looking for an Aftersales Project manager to deliver on the various projects in the Aftersales environment and support implementation of an After Sales Strategy with a strong focus on Digital projects and Business Analytics to achieve increased Customer experience and loyalty with an overall objective of increased service market share, Parts & Accessories turnover and Dealer workshop profitability KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : -

Implementation of the After Sales Strategy to achieve increased customer experience and loyalty, increased service market share, increased Parts & Accessories turnover, and workshop profitability -

Implementation and sustainability of Digital projects and Business Analytics in line with the After Sales Strategy to drive workshop profitability.

  • Incorporate the company and other Group benchmark practices into the After Sales Marketing department and the South African Dealer Network environment.
  • Coordinate process and monitor the company Business Plan and Target agreement with the company. - Steering on Brand parts pricing, product management and After Sales Planning round.
  • Plan, define and scope assigned projects to company standards using defined tools, methodologies, processes and procedures, to create well defined projects which align with Business and IT strategies -
  • Provide regular and accurate reports (including project forecasting) to stakeholders so that they have the information they need to review the progress of their project / s.

  • Definition of Dealer workshop targets, in cooperation with Group After Sales through external and / internal research, with dealer consultation in order to optimise and increase After Sales growth and genuine parts market share.
  • Initiating and managing Dealer Incentive, by creating a win / win situation where both the company and dealer organisation achieves After Sales results, above budget.
  • Steering the development and provision of After Sales Projects and initiatives that lead to increased Customer loyalty, Service Market Share, P&A turnover and workshop profitability in close cooperation with Regional Aftersales managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Continuous monitoring and reporting of After Sales project status and key After Sales performance indicators to the company and group management, and developing and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Definition and implementation of an After Sales Marketing plan, Digital projects strategy and Campaigns for end customers in close cooperation with Group After Sales and Brand Marketing Communications -
  • Implementing projects and initiatives to improve Dealer Profitability, optimize the business and improve workshop productivity and efficiencies -

    Leading, managing and developing reporting staff by the setting of work related objectives, appraising performance and behaviour and where necessary, initiating / providing specialist training to maximize the potential of individuals within the section to maintain high levels of productivity and motivation.

  • Manage and maintain business analytics systems and processes to provide the company Brand insights and best in class SEO tactics MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -
  • A recognised 3-year National diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Project Management / Business Management / Digital Project Management -

    Financial Business Acumen would be beneficial - Have 5 years supervisory automotive Aftersales experience. - Independent after-

    market (automotive) experience essential. - Have experience in managing digital projects - Must be familiar with Dealer After Sales operating procedures and Business Management Practices -

    A proven understanding of the automotive Parts and Accessories business - An understanding of parts pricing structures and the impact of pricing adjustments on gross profits and service market share -

    Exhibit strong business analytics skills - Exhibit strategic thinking skills and demonstrate strong project management skills -

    Effective communication skills â€" ability to communicate / present across all levels - Must be able to build rapport with Dealers and Customers alike -

    Must exhibit strong leadership values and people management skills - Must be innovative, resourceful, action oriented, analytically minded and be able to work independently
