Summary : The purpose of this role is to lead , direct and manage the Research and Knowledge Management functions of the Organisation.

Qualifications Required :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business management;
  • An MBA will be an added advantage;
  • A diploma or certificate in Strategic Writing.
  • Experience required :

  • Minimum of 7 years in Strategic Business Planning;
  • 4 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation Knowledge and understanding of Local Government Municipal Performance and Regulations;
  • Understanding of Municipal Planning and Performance management regulations The inter governmental Relations Framework Act.

  • Ensure an integrated approach to business planning, performance monitoring and reporting in alignment with the high level planning cycles of the organisation;
  • Enhanced program implementation, service delivery and sound governance;
  • Drive special strategic programs to support service delivery;
  • Implementation of risk and compliance management framework as specified;
  • Mitigate and manage the organisation’s risk profile;
  • Manage intergovernmental relations within all spheres of Government.
