Our Client in the Killarney / Montague Gardens area is seeking the skills of (Receiving Clerks within the Butchery environment), to start immediately.

Task & Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE To supervise the receiving of stock from suppliers. 1. DUTIES. 1.1 Maintain work flow by working fast and correctly.

1.2 Check that yard cleaner are at work and report absenteeism timeously to Dispatch manager. 1.3 Ensure that all staff assisting you in receiving of goods and yourself are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy.

1.4 Assist the Dispatch Manager in all receiving of goods activities. 1.5 Ensure that all goods received are counted and or weight before acceptance and that such number of goods or product weights are documented.

1.6 Ensure that all goods received are quality checked before acceptance. 1.7 Ensure that all goods received are documented on the daily goods received register.

1.8 Ensure that all invoices or delivery notes for individual deliveries received are handed to the correct staff member at the finance department.

1.9 Ensure that all goods received are identified with a lot or batch number before storage. 1.10 Ensure that all goods received are marked and identified.

1.11 Coordinate the movement of stock received to storage areas. 1.12 Ensure that all goods returned from customers are handled as per company procedures.

1.13 Ensure good housekeeping practises in the receiving area. 1.14 Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage of and damage to stock received.

1.15 Ensure that temperature controls for the receiving area and all products received are adhered to. 1.16 Train new personnel in receiving actions.

2. QUALITY, FOOD SAFETY AND HEALTH & SAFETY. 2.1 Manage, maintain and enforce food safety procedures and requirements in the receiving area and on supplier delivery vehicles.

2.2 Manage, maintain and enforce quality policies, procedures and requirements in the goods receiving area and for all products in this area.

2.3 Manage, maintain and enforce Health & Safety legal requirements plus company procedures in the receiving area and for all supplier delivery vehicles.

2.4 Ensure that all food safety and quality documents are completed timeously. 3. EQUIPMENT. 3.1 Ensure that all equipment in the receiving area are clean and in good working order.

3.2 Assist the Logistics manager with preventative and planned maintenance of the receiving area and all utensils and equipment.

1. GENERAL. 4.1 Attend weekly meeting with Section Supervisors. 4.2 Attend weekly management planning meeting with Logistics Manager.

4.3 Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement. HOUSEKEEPING 1.

Ensure that areas under your control or allocated to you are clean, neat and tidy at all times. 2. No stock is allowed to stand in the receiving area after hours, it must be sorted and packed in the freezer and fridges.

Skills & Experience KEY PERFORMANCE 1. Ensure the speedily receiving of all goods from suppliers. 2. Ensure that quality standards are maintained.

3. Any shortfalls in goods received to be reported to the Logistics Manager immediately. 4. No stock to be received without correct paperwork in place STOCK TAKING Assist with m onth-

end stock take in your area of control. OTHER Perform any other reasonable tasks as instructed and requested by the Logistics Manager.
