Bookkeeper duties Monitoring day to day financial transactions Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger Manage debtors book, suppliers accounts and related administration (invoicing, payment allocation) Manage and maintain financial data and records Work closely with the Finance Manager to create and analyses financial information Create reports and financial statements Other duties Manage monthly payroll system VAT 201 EMP 201 & EMP 501 Annual tax returns COIDA Perform general administrative and other financial duties as requested from time to time MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration Non negotiable Completed artciles SAIPA membership will be advantageous Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Customer service orientation Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting debtors / creditors principles Advanced MS Excel knowledge
