In a South African context, the company seeks to provide solutions to its’ customers that offer full circle Service Management implementations through education, consulting, and the ultimate automation of international best practices within the organization.
The Head of Technology assumes accountability for the implementation and ongoing support of various technology suites that automate theoretical best practices as well as constantly developing roadmaps for further additional technology suites that offer additional value to the customer base.
Current product suites include Cherwell and Ivanti Enterprise Service Management, Freshworks, Beyond Trust, and Specops Password Management.
Reporting to the Regional Director and key to the management team, this individual will be experienced in the successful development and delivery of technical solutions across a variety of platforms.
Customer-orientated with core project management understanding, an individual with Service Management experience will benefit.
Core Competencies :
3-5 years of exposure to a varied technical platform
Organized and structured with a drive to excel
Excellent general technical and project management skills
Experience in managing successful teams and individual development
Solution mindset with a passion for working on successful customer projects
ITIL® certification or experience with Service Management environments beneficial
Key Responsibilities :
Ownership of all aspects of customer and internal solutions that pertain to the technology offering
Close interaction with fellow divisional heads to encourage a deep understanding of the Technology offering and collaboration in the development of solutions to customer requirements
Support of sales teams in the identification of opportunities, demonstrations of suitable suites, and creation of supporting solution design for inclusion in proposals and presentations
Delivery of new projects across scoping, project planning, commercial, and ultimately successful implementation.
Development of relationships with customers using technology solutions, providing guidance and identification of improvements and opportunities to add further value.
Liaison with vendors to ensure the Technology team is fully skilled on the relevant platforms and their respective product roadmap
Recruitment, management, and ongoing development of a team of technical specialists, certified across relevant technologies.
Management of maximum utilization.
