About the position : Our client is looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Marketing and Brand Co-ordinator, to create marketing strategy and manage and implement all day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns for the company.

Passionate, motivated and a creative thinker, the successful candidate will have experience and confidence in performing a wide range of marketing activities including developing marketing strategies, creating and implementing marketing / promotional plans and managing stakeholder communications to promote the company brand.

Responsibilities : Undertaking market / competitor analysis, and understanding the markets in which the company operatesResearching market conditions and identifying trends, both local and internationalCarrying out regular competitor price point checks to inform pricing decisionsCreating marketing plans to best reach the companys target audiences, both trade and consumerPreparing an annual promotional calendarImplementing plans to attract new and retain current customers, including test marketing new initiativesDeveloping strategies for building and managing membership of the companys Wine Club through a variety of channelsManaging and executing all aspects of social media to ensure planned and coordinated messagingArranging participation in trade shows and consumer eventsManaging competition entries, both local and internationalIdentifying new merchandising opportunitiesManaging the process of creating marketing materials both design and copywritingManaging and controlling the marketing budgetMonitoring effectiveness and monthly tracking / reporting of all marketing activitiesUnderstanding brand values and building brand awareness, both internally and externallyWorking with the Sales team(s) to maximise existing and establish new streams of revenueWorking with the Tasting Room Assistant to plan promotions and eventsWorking partnerships with third parties corporate relationships, ambassadorships etc.

Establishing relationships with retail and trade customers for good customer serviceStrengthening relationships with media to expand Public Relations (PR) opportunitiesRepresenting the companys brand at trade events and other public appearances, as requiredSupporting the CEO on all marketing fronts, both local and international, including diary managementQualifications, Skills and Experience required : Experience in marketing / brand management, ideally 3-5 years working in marketingExcellent spoken and written communication skills (English included)Good organisational and planning skillsCapacity to be creative and innovative when designing marketing plans and materialsAn understanding of the latest marketing techniques and practicesGood industry knowledge, both trade and consumer - WSET qualified (Level 2 or above) preferableGood IT knowledge including PowerPoint and ExcelProven experience of budget management and forecastingCharacteristics : Pro-active, driven, motivated and able to take initiativeCreative thinker and problem solverStrong customer service orientationAble to work autonomously in a small team environmentAbility to live company brand values
