Responsible for the design and upgrade of Electrical / Control & Instrumentation / Power systems
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to :
Perform audits on equipment to establish improvement opportunities from a Control / Instrumentation and Power perspective
Design standardized systems (complete or area specific) and implement upgrades
Promote range of EC&I service products to the mining and minerals industry
Remain updated on new EC&I product developments and relay to the market.
Develop EC&I business opportunities through regular interaction with clients.
Assist with estimation of upgrades
At times work with suppliers to expedite work in progress
Inspect equipment at suppliers premises
Review documents and drawings
Accurate records of meeting and reports for the client and as well as for internal requirements
Perform Lab services according to Maintenance contract requirements, as well as breakdown / fault finding assistance
Diligent documentation of all activities
Provide Engineering support to Field Service personnel and customers
Understand and read drawings
