Job DescriptionResponsible for the full profit and loss of the business unit including operational oversight and sales. Responsible for executing the business strategy aligned to the group strategy.

Qualification and Experience Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the sales and / or client supportMinimum of 5 years leadership experience with demonstrated success building and leading support and client relationship management teams.

  • Experience in platform business (advantageous)Experience in start-up business (advantageous)Post graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline Roles and ResponsibilitiesPROCESS Oversee execution of strategic business development in alignment with the New Growth StrategyAlignment of the team to solution selling , inclusive of all service linesForecast sales and manage pipeline;
  • Deliver a working plan of all metrics to deliver and exceed the Adcorp Growth strategy inclusive of numeric targets (Rands and GP%’s) as well as the intrinsic value proposition of the services Adcorp Services offers to its clients.

  • Define the Contingency Brand, team, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals we target;Define the Contingency Brand, team, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals we target;
  • Oversee the execution of the strategic business development plan while working with key stakeholders (e.g. partners, business development teams, product service teams, legal, support);
  • Work closely with the Adcorp Account Managers and partners to help ensure successful customer adoption of Contingency BrandDirects appropriate strategies to secure sustainable market share in diverse and profitable market segments.

    Responsible for overall P&LIndependently identifies, qualifies, and drives client commitment while managing the overall sales process that includes client engagement, opportunity qualification and definition, proposal development, solution confirmation, and close.

  • Handles the more complex transactions.Understand customer business requirements and translation into the technical requirements, and work closely with the internal development teams to contribute and guide the direction of the product offerings;
  • Leads in a manner consistent with the purpose, vision and values of the group .Drive a high performance culture and enable a return of absolute commitment and accountability from all employees in the portfolioEncourages good performance by establishing clear links between performance measures and business objectives.

    Provides timely and constructive performance feedback. Re-evaluates the effectiveness of the performance management processes within the team to ensure that it still meets business needs.

    Recognises and acknowledges customers centric behaviour within area of responsibility
