Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Production Manager to join their dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Identifies risks in the area of responsibility and immediate operations.
  • Ensure that all administrative procedures are performed and documents are traceable.
  • Monitor, maintain and ensure quality and production documentation are completed as per work procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to Production and Quality Procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage all Process and quality deviations.
  • Conduct Audits and manage findings.
  • Monitor, maintain and ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and WI as per factory requirement.
  • Oversee plant maintenance and engineering services.
  • Monitor and ensure assistance with first-line and preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor and ensure machine condition checks.
  • Contacting and arranging for maintenance support.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Apply 5S principles.
  • Auditing and inspection of area and equipment.
  • Promote awareness and review performance.
  • Continuous improvement and effective teamwork.
  • Monitor, maintain and ensure corrective and preventative improvement actions through structured problem-solving.
  • Create an environment conducive to effective teamwork and innovation.
  • Set up effective teams and ensure review of performance.
  • Promote and ensure effective team communication.
  • Optimise FCW team performance.
  • Measure and monitor team and individual performance.
  • Manage Human resources in the factory.
  • Manage and conduct a performance of individuals.
  • Manage IR situations and ensure a positive IR environment.

    5 Years of Experience


  • Matriculated.
  • National Diploma : Food Technology / Production Certificate or Diploma.
  • National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging Operation or Technical Qualification.
  • 5 years from a Matric level or 1 -2 years from a diploma level experience.
  • Team leading / Management experience essential.
