Job description (General Manager)Previous experience as a General Manager will be an advantage.Responsibilities : Overseeing daily business operations of the Forecourt, Wimpy, Woolworths and Quick Shop.
Training low-level managers and staff.Improving sales and revenue.Generating reports To perform all shift change functions necessary to keep an accurate record of all stock used and monies received.
Overseeing of all cash ups and day ends.To enforce all required standards e.g.
service, quality, health, hygiene etc through training, management and good leadership.To draft the duty roster from month to month.
To ensure the proper administration of all staff issues.To perform any act that may reasonably be seen to fall within the ambit of a General Manager Motivation and discipline of staff in accordance with the Companys Disciplinary Code and Procedure.
Maintain integrity of all relevant computer reports by ensuring that they are at all times accurate.Institute measures to contain shrinkage to acceptable levels.
The performance of all tasks that will ensure the proper running of the business which tasks relate to issues such as service, sales, stock controls, hygiene, cleanliness, operation of equipment and lighting, water, electricity and general maintenance.
