Our client based in Durban - Avoca seeks to appoint an Internal Sales Representative to join their team. Job duties :

Handle customer enquiries by telephone, or e-mail

Capture new orders into the sales system

Release orders as requested by customers for delivery or collection and follow up

Support Field Sales Representatives and Sales Managers, by following up deliveries and enquiries, and forwarding quotes to customers

Maintain integrity of order book by re-planning existing orders as per customer’s requirements

Perform general administrative tasks

Calculating amounts for, and processing, financial credit, and debit notes

Handling pricing of new tenders for projects in the KZN region Job requirements :

Matriculation certificate

A proven track record in a Sales environment

Be able to operate in an environment where self-management is required

Excellent communication / negotiation skills

Having an understanding and working knowledge of the company’s products would be advantageous

Ability to work accurately in calculating amounts for financial credit notes and tender prices

Must be customer service and sales orientated

Good telephone etiquette and communication skills
