Job Purpose To assume responsibility for the strategic planning process, strategic projects, operations and business transformation initiatives.
Optimise Group Shared service intergration for the Cluster. To assume responsibility for the performance of the relevant Cluster as dictated by the overall strategy and supported by the Managing Executive focusing on the efficient establishment and optimisation of the day to day operations in the Cluster. Job Responsibilities
Ensure that the Cluster delivers on the targeted figures by implementing, driving and monitoring processes and procedures to manage day-to-day operations.
Ensure that services enhance the Cluster image by managing service delivery standards.
Programme and project management of group and strategic projects across the cluster. Achieve financial deliverables by leading and developing organisational procedures with regards to client onboarding and Servicing, including new systems and processes as we progress to digital enablement.
Develop and oversee the Cluster strategic planning and execution by ensuring that operational plans and day-to-day client operational execution is aligned with and support the strategic objectives and priorities of the Cluster.
Enable strategy execution by ensuring that appropriate systems, processes and forums are in place.
Monitor and track client operational delivery and take remedial action where necessary by putting in place an effective system of controls
Ensure business process optimization for the cluster and region
Enhance operational effectiveness and efficiencies by ensuring data collection and integrity of data for client processes.
Assume responsibility for the Data Management Office.
Ensure the constructs of risk, governance and compliance are addressed by managing through organisation entities, processes and embedding in the day-to-day client operations of the Cluster.
Facilitate stakeholder awareness through regular operational reporting
Develop and implement a strategy to build a differentiated culture of improvement and innovation
Minimum Experience Level 15 Years relevant banking experience. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification CA(SA) & / or Masters in Business Administration Type of Exposure
Experienced Banker at the highest level
