Upmarket, Rooftop Wine, Champagne and Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant located near Edenvale. The Restaurant is open for Breakfast / Lunch and Dinner Mon-Fri (B / L for office park across the road), Thurs Sun open to the public from Lunch until late (but they have to be closed by 12 : 30).

Job Description To provide, an overall smooth running and management of activities taking place at the Restaurant for the day to day smooth running of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties : Taking over management and reconciliation of stock management and recons Weekly stock and sales reports analysis to discuss at weekly management meeting Overall staff management, this includes attendance, leave applications approval, shifts, deliverable products, etc.

of floor, kitchen and bar staff. Overall general restaurant management, including upkeep, maintenance, pest control and customer service Overall monitoring of restaurant equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware to maintain standards.

Responsible for smooth running of daily reservations Responsible for customer liaison Responsible for stock takes, checks and balances Responsible for placing orders with suppliers Responsible for supplier management, price checks and comparisons for more profitable and quality purchases Reporting on stock deals with alcohol Service excellence Corporate bookings, functions and catering Entertainment and security roster management BOH / FOH / marketing / events / rosters / cash up and opening & closing +- 30 staff (including Front of House & Back of House 10- 15 waiters, 11 kitchen, 3 bar staff).

There are 2 floor managers, head chef, hostess, bar manager. Mon-Wed will not normally be required to work nights unless the restaurant has private functions / events booked.

Shift work as won’t have to open and close every day. Once settled can organize weekend off monthly. Qualifications Relevant Formal Hospitality Qualifications will prove a strong advantage.

Skills Well Experienced in General Management of Restaurants and all that this entails. Proven track record required. Great Staff Management and organization skills.

Strong Stock Control. Great with Customers. Salary / Package R20 000-R30 000 per month Benefits Negotiable.
