Lead & develop a marine structures team for delivering designs, drawings and calculations, reports and technical specifications
Manage and build client relationships
Oversee site implementation of projects
Preparation of proposals
Business travel including to locations in Africa, the Middle East and Australia
Professional Engineer with minimum 10 years relevant experience;
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Engineering is preferred);
Excellent understanding of marine structures best practice for design based on international codes and standards (inclusive of European, British, American & Australian design codes as well as CEM, PIANC and other best practice guides);
Demonstrated experience in working with marine structural design interfaces with geotechnical engineering and coastal engineering disciplines and managing these interfaces to optimize overall project outcomes;
First-hand knowledge of designing for the marine environment with experience in constructability, durability and operability of marine projects and assets;
Be capable of building relationships and working in a team environment;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing;
Demonstrated exposure to project development and / or delivery in emerging regions;
Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
Proven ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a specified time frame and budget;
Design Software capabilities with packages including STAADPro, LUSAS, Spacegass, PROKON or other recognized suites;
