Purpose To design, develop and maintain instructional materials. Key performance objectives1. Design and develop new instructional materials2.

Continuously improve existing training material3. Train the trainers to ensure that they have the necessary skills to deliver the content4.

Document policies, processes and procedures related to the creation and maintenance of learning materialResponsibilities : Material DevelopmentEnsure that, in general, Learning Material is managed in alignment with the strategic aims set by business, and accordance to I-Fundi standards.

Ensure that learning material for new programmes is either personally developed; or sourced and evaluated within specified timelines and budgetsCustomise existing material in accordance with requirements set by the organisationEnsure that there is continuous and pro-active improvement of existing material, including learner guides, slides, POEs, facilitator guides and supporting material, assessor guides and programme strategiesEnsure that facilitator, assessor and learner feedback on the quality of the material is pro-actively sought and incorporated into updatesEnsure that a coherent framework for Learning Material is created and managed, to facilitate efficient versioning, archiving and printing of materialQuality assure all qualification and skills programme printing templatesKeep abreast of both the accreditation space (SAQA) and cutting-edge approaches, techniques and methodologies for classroom, hybrid and online learning delivery.

QualificationsAssessor and Moderator Accreditation at Level 4 or above, preferably in a qualification that is currently being run by I-Fundi, and preferably with the Services SETAPreferably, material development qualification, e.
