Recruitment Description / Key AccountabilitiesDetermine the pertinent business questions to be answered through hypothesis, apply algorithms to explore, analyze and interpret patterns in data.

Provide data-driven solutions for business questions.Define and continually improve the methods, tools and frameworks through which reporting are done within procurement.

Consolidate the measurement and reporting of procurement performance information.Consolidate reports on key procurement data and identify deviations and associated risks on procurement performance results.

Develop, maintain and run the procurement performance dashboard with specific focus on the Microbattle project. Develop the key performance measures in support of the procurement strategy and provide self-service reporting.

Design and build data architecture for use in procurement to enable easier access and interpretation of data. Design and build data visualisation based on underlying data to ensure data-driven decision making.

Analyse and interpret large data sets through the visualisation of data.Test and deploy advanced data analysis tools.Define needed mechanisms (e.

g. workshops, scorecards, health checks) to facilitate the gathering of BI data. Pinpoint BI risks and non-conformance areas.

Implement measures to control them to acceptable levels. Maintain best practice approaches to the development, testing, and documentation of business intelligence and reporting processes.

Review and certify the integrity of data on which procurement reporting is based. Model data to provide insights that enable decision making.

Monitor availability and readiness of dashboards and reports to enable fast and clear decision making. Define changes required to implement improvements and monitor the efficacy of improvement undertakings.

Apply evidence-based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations. Implement Sasol Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework.

Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to enable the achievement of improved operations and informed decision making.

Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.

Formal EducationUniversity Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Finance / Information Management or equivalent in a related field Min Experience8+ relevant years (Data Analytics andBusiness Intelligence) Certification & Professional MembershipMicrosoft Certified - PowerBI Specialist or SQL Specialist Core CompetenciesAnalytics : The systematic computational analysis of data or statistics.
