A New 4 Star Hotel opening in December is looking for a Head Chef. This position will ideally be suited for an applicant that is hands on, organised and detail orientated.
As this is a new hotel you will have the opportunity, as Head Chef, to assist in hiring and training a new team within the parameters of our core policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone that fits the below requirements and attributes :
Minimum 2 year management experience as Head Chef in a 4 star Hotel environment of 60+ bedrooms
MS Office knowledge a must
Experience with menu design and costing
Experience in financials within F&B
Experience in Stock taking
Fluent in English
Flexible at on all levels at all times
Excellent time management skills
Able to work under pressure
Able to manage people effectively
Good organisational skills
Be able to implement and maintain standards and procedures
Be able to handle complaints efficiently
Maintain high standards of guest service
