Technical Sales / Support Representative - MIDRAND Duties include :

  • To effect sales revenue for company from South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa regions and to provide technical support to customers in these regions in accordance with established objectives by Principals
  • To grow the business portfolio in Southern Africa and to develop another leg for business to stand on
  • Business Development & Technical Support :
  • To contribute in meeting the sales budget by setting up appropriate sales targets agreed with Supervisor & relevant
  • To contribute to existing business by negotiating sales and prepare commercial offers
  • Pro-actively identify new customers & prepare sales offers together with the commercial teams
  • Send regular and detailed feedback (visit reports, meetings, etc)
  • Compile periodic reporting to Supervisor & Principals.
  • Generate SAP Invoices & Credit Notes, when required
  • Regular technical & commercial onsite visits with the customers
  • Technical onsite troubleshooting and emergency support in relation with the products supplied
  • Installation and removal support for the products supplied
  • Marketing :
  • Report market studies, market trends and related business opportunities
  • Finance :
  • Control customer payments and respective risks. Minimum Requirements :
  • Bcomm / Bsc : Chemistry / NDip : Chemical Engineering Experience - 5 years
  • Industrial / technical / commercial sales and business development experience within the chemicals or related industry
