The Job

Our client, a leading and dominant player in the telecommunications industry across the SA market, is growing exponentially.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for 4 Technical BSS Billing Support Engineers to join their vibey and ambitious team.

Your key role is to provide level 2 support to business and call centers in performing root cause analysis and suggesting overall improvement plans.

The Support Engineer will also be involved in escalating issues to the correct personnel and to manage the request until solution.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity to join a fast-growing telco leader.

Essential :

  • Provide level 2 support to business and call centers in a structured approach that have been logged via a ticket system.
  • Manage and escalate queries to the right person in the event of complex issues.
  • Monitor systems daily to prevent any risks.
  • Deliver support within predefined SLA's.
  • Perform root cause analysis and suggest improvement plans where applicable.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Personal Aptitude & Skills :

  • Self-motivated.
  • Solution orientated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Time management.
  • Work under pressure and adhere to agreed deadlines.
