Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will play a hands on role in training and mentoring your staff, while supporting them in closing sales and generating new business.

Through supporting the sales team you will maximise the numbers of new cars sold, while ensuring that your customers are delighted with the service they receive.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Monitoring and reporting on individual and team sales performance
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction targets are being exceeded
  • Taking a hands on approach in supporting sales consultants to meet their targets
  • Maximising lead conversion for the Business Manager
  • Identifying training and development needs and opportunities for your staff
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure the dealership meets its new car sales targets
  • About you :

    You will be a problem solver with a passion for leading and developing your staff. Ideally you will have previous leadership experience within an automotive sales environment, and a track record of exceeding your sales and service targets

    Specific Skills required :

  • Due to the challenging nature of the role prior leadership experience in the automotive sector is essential
  • Proven track record of leading a team to exceed sales targets
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing staff
  • Ability to evolve and adapt with changing business needs
