Vacancy Details Employer : Boikago Group (Pty) Ltd IntroductionA manufacturing company based in Pretoria is looking for an experienced Labour / Employee Relations ConsultantPurpose of the RoleResponsible person will be responsible for the oversight of site and supplier employee / employer relations and the resolution of labour-related matters.
Key Responsibilities : Advise, consult and guide internal HR Team and suppliers on IR structures & procedures for the day-to-day practical implementation across site.
Support and maintain sound work relationships between employees, union and employer bodies. Establish labour relations standards across all suppliers to ensure consistency of support and labour monitoring.
Important Company guidance on the implementation and application of disciplinary and grievance procedures and policies within supply base.
Monitor, review, and recommend interventions to optimize collective agreements. Facilitate quarterly supplier labour risk assessments for the purpose of workforce planning and labour stability.
Consult and advise management and employees regarding legislation, policies and procedures. Proactively assess and monitor market labour trends.
Support in the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive IR administration systems across supply base. Ensure the enforcement and adherence of policies and procedures by advising and monitoring management and staff across supply base.
Consult and advise suppliers HR team on CCMA cases. Facilitate the implementation of regular meetings between management and organized union committee.
