Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store Produce window displays, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result Come up with, revise and present design ideas with assistant merchandisers and staff in stores.

Provide guidance to area managers on in store merchandising. Act in alignment to the organizations culture, products, image and target market Monitor costs and work within budget, then compile weekly and monthly reports on findings.

Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends to apply to the Rage customer experience.

Monitor and evaluate the merchandising skills of the area managers on daily basis. Capturing data and images received from area managers.

Track how existing product lines are selling and decide the next steps, such as drop a line or expand it Creating monthly and seasonal merchandising packs for area managers and store to implement.

Provide guidance to area managers on in store merchandising. Assist VMA coordinator with planning and scheduling of area managers.

Assist with any queries with in the team. A qualification in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.

Your great track record would be sufficient. Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser or visual manager, minimum of 3 years experience Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilisation.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools would be beneficial but not a requirement. Retail store experience is an advantage as a merchandiser, Knowledge and understanding of current market trends in order to create great visual merchandise trends that will attract customers.

Good team work skills Advanced Microsoft Office especially Excel Good communication and interpersonal skills
