A leading company within the retail industry is currently looking to employ a Big Data Systems Engineer to join their team

Responsible to build, test, and maintain data processing systems involving large data sets

To ensure data applications and the jobs running on them are secure and available in production

Work with team and Data Engineers in order to deploy and ensure the deployability of infrastructure, package applications, and data transformation jobs

Assist in managing the cost infrastructure deployed for applications both in development and production

Degree or Diploma in a Technology-related field.

DevOps tools chain andexposure to scheduled data transformation on clustered compute (e.g. Hadoop / PySpark) or query engines

Associate level Linux Certification.

Azure Associate Certification

Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices

Knowledge of big data / data warehousing / business intelligence application patterns

Experiencein a technology-related field as a Data or Systems Engineer for Linux hosted data management applicationSalary Market Related

Degree or Diploma in a Technology-related field.
