Minimum requirements for the role : Tertiary Qualification such as B.Com or Diploma or related in Logistics or Transport or related is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked in a Stock / Inventory Controlling role is essential. Previous experience having worked closely with 3rd party warehousing companies is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked in the chemical or related industries is preferred but not essential. Can come from any product batch industry.
Must have a proven track record having worked extensively in inventory / stock reconciliations. Must be computer literate and have intermediate Excel experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for : Planning and coordinating all incoming goods and the storage of items in a timeous and efficient manner to meet set team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIS).
Efficiently and timeously managing stock transfers and storage units to ensure adequate space allocation. Being involved in monitoring stock and keeping record of stock levels.
Ensuring that all outgoing stock is in line with company procedures. Conducting stock takes, controlling all sample stock, and assisting with stock reconciliations.
Ensuring the integrity of master data on the companys computer system. Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
