This role will have 25 staff under their management and 5 in direct line management. Reporting directly to the head of financial planning.

This is an exciting opportunity, on a permanent base. This role will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the finance department, ensuring quarterly and monthly budgeting is up to and prosperity within their department.

Essential Criteria : CCAB qualification ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACARelevant experience within a finance departmentHighly organised with the ability to meet strict deadlinesProblem solving skillsSelf-starterUnderstanding of what HE is like, but not necessarily worked within HEExperience managing a teamExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be able to communicate in a way which promotes understanding to both finance and non-finance professionals.

Desirable QualitiesA blend of Higher Education and private sector experience.Experience within a complex, not for profit organisation
