Job Description : Ensures required process development information accompanies new tooling. Interpret processes received and makes necessary conversions for production equipment to be used.
Records and maintains mould and process setup sheets. Improves and documents processes on existing moulds, using established systematic techniques.
Assists in trouble shooting production processes Assists in training of new process technicians and mould setup personnel.
Conducts cycle improvement and regrind usage tests. Monitors production cycle times Identifies key process parameters for process monitoring and control Establishes process parameters for part diversion Audits production processes for adherence to established setup Assists with investigations of reject product and the development of corrective actions Knowledge of TS 16949 standards, SPC, TQM and GMP’s Ability to manage tool changes and start machine start-ups Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and manufacturing personnel Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to take a systematic approach to process optimization and problem solving.
Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills Knowledge of Viper Robots and Duo Engel injection moulding machines Ability to work and stand for long hours Good timekeeper Understanding of injection transfer moulding a must Ability to manage tool change and quick start up Relevant Degree in Mechanical Engineering Three to Five years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in the injection moulding process, machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment and experience in working with machinery up to a press capacity of 14000 tons would serve as an added advantage.
