This role recognized that the cloud sale requires a specialist engagement and is not typical of other traditional sales engagements.
The Cloud Specialist is a Sales role that bring this focus to the client engagement and the sales cycle. the Cloud Specialist is able to work both via a Sales Specialist / Client Manager, or directly with the client, depending on the situation.
The Cloud Specialist will be focused specifically landing Cloud Consulting, Migration, Management and Consumption and will work with the Sales team on the best approach for the client based on where they are on their Cloud Journey, will assist in moving the sale through the sales cycle from identification to closure.
The Cloud Specialist is also expected to take a proactive approach, working with the Alliance Team, Vendor Partners and Marketing to develop pipeline.
It is further expected to ensure they have a comprehensive view on all Cloud opportunities currently being developed and ensure these are recorded accurately in Salesforce.
The will also provide feedback into the Product Management team related to the performance and fit of offers.
