Sales Consultants work in almost any field imaginable and plays an important part in a company's sustainability and efforts of staying profitable and competitive.

Roles & Responsibilities- Lead conversions (including non-digital and social media planned campaigns)- Cold calling leads and new opportunities- Plan, setup, attend and facilitate site visits & workshops -educating clients on the benefits and use of fibre connectivity- Courtesy calls to closed sales as after sales service to secure customers happy letters / referrals.

  • Escalate complaints and concerns and report on compliments- Live current site gap analysis administration with focus on the lowest uptake;
  • Communicate and report on marketing requests & sales initiatives received from Sales manager- Communicate sales initiative or marketing requirements to Sales manager- Provide statistics and reports to chief commercial officer weekly and consolidated monthly.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required from time-to-time as approved by the chief commercial officerKey Responsibility Areas (KRAs)Sales- Direct Sales to live sites- Lead conversion on gap analysis- Product / service upsell Worx offerings- Client RetentionService Excellence- Customer Centric service delivery- Internal & External Stakeholders- Courtesy calls and feedback to support deskMarketing- Brand Awareness through social media, activations and cold calling- Arrange and attend on-site activations whilst ensuring all brands are representedGeneral Work Ethic- Honesty, work attendance, conduct at customer meetings- Ensure customers are engaged immediately as soon as issues are experienced with their respective services- Attend relevant internal and external training interventions and applying skills and knowledge gained at training to improve performance1.
  • Skills and qualities required for the Sales Consultant position : - Integrity and ability to work unsupervised- Team Player- Good business skills- Good human relations- Willingness to learn and solve challenging problems- Ability to work under high pressure situations and flexibility work times if required- Must be able to check own work- Problem Solving capability- Proficient with MS Word / MS Excel.

    MS PowerPoint / Outlook- Good English writing skills- Taking initiative in generating new leads- Must be confident to make cold calls- Excellent telephonic and face to face communication skills- Must be presentable- Must be commercially focused- Must be able to execute work within the companies processes- Must have a "go getter" attitudeMust have own reliable transport2.
