About the Sales Associate position
This isn't an average company, and this isn't an average sales position. Because of the type of customers we are working with, we need someone who is knowledgeable and eloquent (verbally and digitally) to hold their own in sales conversations with industry professionals.
Our product and services combine industry-leading human intelligence (tradecraft) cutting edge machine learning and data analytics.
You would need to be comfortable talking about political risk events and their impact, as well as understand the basics of machine learning and data science.
You will be backed and supported by experts in their fields and an experienced executive sales team, but you will be the sharp point of the spear in getting new customers.
We don't require any previous sales experience, it's our belief that anyone can be a salesperson. We do require someone with grit.
Someone who's willing to do the research and footwork needed, including hundreds of emails and calls. We want someone as passionate about our field as we are.
Account Representative responsibilities are :
Researching potential leads
Researching trends in our field
Inputting data into the CRM
Emailing and / or calling new leads
Briefing the customers about new or additional products / services
Responding to customer inquiries
Following up with customers / clients
Participating in ongoing discussions on sales and product strategy
Account Representative requirements are :
Experience within a related field would be great
Great communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in software
Excellent problem-solving skills
People person personality
Being target driven and highly motivated
