Job purpose : The successful candidate will be responsible for developing & managing an industry-leading retention team, maximising customer retention, and driving service excellence.

This is a revenue target carrying role and as such will require a strong track record in sales / target achievement. The role will necessitate process re-

engineering, optimising team efficiency and the creation of a high-performance team culture. You will need to foster alignment with internal stakeholders & business partners and drive operational excellence.

As a member of the C4L management team, you will be fully accountable for ensuring that retention and operational KPI’s are exceeded and accurately reported on.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Retention team to deliver revenue performance and operational outcomes in line with budgetary expectations

Set clear expectations and deliverables in line with the C4L VSGM, for the Payroll retention team

Coach and develop talent within the Payroll retention team

Implement and nurture a culture of performance excellence & customer centricity

Provide accurate and timely forecasting & reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual performance including risk management and opportunity analysis

Take accountability as First escalation point for customer issues

Drive Innovation by streamlining processes and driving automation and efficiency

Drive internal alignment and collaboration with other teams across Sage to enable an enhanced customer experience, operating as an escalation point for customer issue resolution, when necessary

Foster professional relationships with key customers

Participate as a member of the C4L Management team

Other duties as required from time to time

Skills, know-how and experience :

Proven performance track record in a Sales Quota Carrying Role

Strong customer service orientation

Experience in leading quota carrying teams with the ability to inspire and develop colleagues through coaching and positive leadership

Good knowledge of managing performance to budget and forecasting

Highly Organised and with commitment to excellence

Operational capability to manage day to day activities , driving desired monthly outcomes

Self-motivated ( Can Do ) attitude with strong personal drive and commitment to succeed

Ability to motivate others and reward team and individual efforts

Strong adaptability and resilience to excel in a dynamic and demanding sales environment

Keen negotiation, Influencing and Problem-Solving Skills

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across diverse constituencies (Internal and External)

5+years of experience successfully growing and managing a sales organization

Experience in selling, implementing or supporting one or more Sage Solution

In depth knowledge of the Payroll CRM, Payroll Crystal reports and Accpac systems

Technical / professional qualifications :

Working knowledge of Accounting and / or HR Software solutions

University degree or equivalent
