Senior Bid Manager : Needed to contribute in the process of refining and enhancing, on an ongoing basis, the current and future sales & bid strategy.
Manage & support a high-performance team who deliver & execute the companys bid functions. Hands-on role supporting the sales team and direct sales with clients and prospective clients.
Management of Leads and Bids realization.
Manage day-to-day bid process activities from the initial stage to submission & ensure optimal resource usage
Develop & manage the bid process plan towards effectively responding to RFIs, RFQs & RFPs
Analyse tender documents & research specific potential clients in order to develop targeted proposals that meet the clients needs and aspirations
Facilitate the writing of comprehensive responses to RFIs, RFQs & RFPs in order to produce market leading proposals
Engage with Operations & Top Management in ensuring that proposals are reflective of the business & individual clients needs
Liaise with support services (e.g. Finance, People Management, Supply Chain), in order to ensure integrity of information required for bid proposals
Ensure Quality of bid documents in accordance with the company & best practice quality standards
Ensure that bid documents are strictly submitted within set timescales
Implement & maintain a controlled access storage for data and bid information for ease of use by internal bid team members
Provide a comprehensive sales & marketing report on a monthly & quarterly basis
Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Sales / Business Development / Marketing
Min 8 Years Solid Experience In Sales, Business Development, Market Trends & Best Practices Sales Environment
Strong Sales Knowledge & Bid Management (Ideally In The Services Industry), Negotiations Skills, Project Management, Commercial Acumen,
Salary : R500 000 - R650 000p.a.
