Translate customer orders into material to support production orders and confirm customer orders in order with agreed lead-times from supplying plant.
Generate documentation / workpacks for batches
Do regular cycle counts to ensure system and physical inventory matches.
Recognize by pro-active review when scheduled deliveries will take place and work with supply chain to expedite and re-schedule as required
Work with the warehouse team in order to manage the materials efficiently and effectively
Create a 30 day days production plan Work closely with team in achieving inventory targets
Produce and update the production and assembly plans (schedules) as and when required thereby ensuring that OE parts are produced in sufficient quantities to complete the required assemblies and loose parts as per customer requirements.
Ensure materials and parts are issued in accordance with the determined schedules via works orders and close out once completed.
Ensure the necessary data is recorded on related documents.
Prioritize works orders to meet customer requirements
Ensure all other product movements and transfers have the necessary documentation, is sufficiently completed and such documentation is timeously captured in system.
Monitor stock accuracy at regular intervals, conduct stock counts as and when required and prepare stock adjustment documents.
This position will be a back up for the Customer Service Rail position
