Job Purpose To apply automotive industry trade or technical knowledge to conduct and complete inspectionscontract management and assessments of a diverse range of fleet.
Key Responsibility AreasInterprets the technical applications or procedures involved and interacting with immediatemanager in respect of changes to priorities or alternative arrangements requiringimplementation.
Executes technical applications provided for procedures to prepare or make determinations onthe nature of damage to vehicles.
Manages the administrative processes involved with controlling a range of different classesand types of contracts for outsourced or co-operative services related to the management ofthe fleet asset.
Controls compliance with regulations in relation to Supply Chain processes involvingacquisition and disposal of a diverse range goods and services.
Completes assessment of the damages and repair applications.Communicates with vehicle manufacturers to obtain details in terms of pricing and availabilityof parts / components requiring replacement.
Updates information datasets on progress in respect of the operational activities and detailingremedial actions based on the specifications of the work.
Monitor and improve customer service level and ensures that customer needs are attended toan actioned according to agreed deadlines and quality standards.
Essential RequirementsRelevant Trade Certificate in either Body Building or, Panel Beating (Automotive Body Repair)and Spray Painting.
Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code C)3 Years relevant experience.Computer Literacy.Preferred RequirementsRelevant 3 year tertiary qualification, i.
