Plan and coordinate communication and public relations activities to ensure clients, prospective clients and other stakeholders are consistently informed of the Citadel Group’s solutions and expertise, as well as accomplishments.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
In collaboration with the Group’s public relations (PR) agency identify topics for press releases in support of the PR strategy and wider business objectives.
Manage PR for the Group :
Build and maintain relationships with key spokespersons
Schedule interviews and ensure spokespersons receive the necessary training, support, and briefs timeously
Edit content for release
Manage the approval process of media releases
Update the media sections on the necessary website(s)
Keep the business informed about media activity, by sending out alerts before interviews o Manage the PR schedule
COMMUNICATION
Provide clients and prospective clients with topical and relevant content in a conversational, easy-to- understand tone on the appropriate platform and in the best medium with a consistent reminder about why they invested or should invest with the company.
Work closely with the Group’s copywriting agency
Copy edit and proofread all content
Manage the design of content
Manage content updates on all Group websites
Conceptualise, manage and coordinate video productions across all strategies
Project manage bi-annual CEO message to the company and clients
Create content to support marketing initiatives, such as website articles post events
Manage specialised reports such as the environmental, social and corporate governance report
BRAND (WEIGHT 30%)
Effectively drive and maintain brands across the Group.
Create and manage brand collateral such as brochures, information books, history video, manifesto, one-page overview
Management of brand touch points across offices
Assist with rebrands and new brand rollouts
Manage the branding of new offices
Assist with new websites and new webpages on existing websites
INTERNAL (WEIGHT 20%)
Facilitate internal product and system launches for business units
Facilitate internal communication for business units
Keep the business informed of marketing activities such as launch campaigns, performance,
and marketing collateral changes
Work closely with the Human Capital team to create internal features, and collateral required for
conferences and other internal initiatives
Facilitate internal company announcements
EVENTS (WEIGHT 10%)
Assist with events especially where PR is a requirement
Facilitate auction items for charity events
