Reputable Banking Institution urgently seeks to appoint a skilled Insurance Business Lead.

The Insurance Business Lead is responsible for the development and implementation of new non-banking businesses.

Responsibilities :

  • Use data driven analyses and business experience to develop innovative and efficient solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze competitive environment and business performance to recognize opportunities and threats.

  • Contributing to the product development for insurance, including design of a roadmap for the evolution of products to distinguish the company's proposition from its competitors.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases for investment.
  • Identify potential risks or challenges that could affect the delivery of business propositions.

  • Product lifecycle management and as such, joint responsibility for revenue (with sales) and profitability (with sales, operations and technology) of the bundles of products utilised by customers.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and Analytics teams to leverage analytics, trends and customer insights to design and manage the portfolios and optimize sales and distribution through our digital channels and partners.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team and all stakeholders (internally and externally) to develop and communicate the insurance strategy within the business.

    Experience Required :

  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in insurance environments.
  • Deep experience in :

  • Process design and optimization, and business process management.
  • Developing, designing and implementing product propositions.
  • Working with diverse partners to co-develop practical, implementable solutions (technical and operational).
  • System architecture, system integration and system development skills and knowledge.
  • Proven ability to drive execution across the value chain across multi-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills (financial, planning, operational).
  • A passion for customer experience and an understanding of customer behaviour.
  • A deep understanding of digital environments and the benefits that technology can bring to customer’s daily lives.
  • Experience in distributing and servicing products through independent channels.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment and to lead collaboratively through change.
