    POSITION SUMMARY :

    As Sales Engineer, you will manage the technical aspects of DigiCert's PKI / IoT / Signing solutions sales delivery during pre-sales, on-boarding, and post-sales activities.

    Other responsibilities will include the articulation of how DigiCert delivers value to technical and business stakeholders as well as retaining and growing existing accounts across the EMEA region.

    This is a remote position.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of DigiCert PKI / IoT / Signing solutions & architecture
  • Provide demonstrations of DigiCert PKI / IoT / Signing solutions and services to key prospects / customers
  • Facilitate technical evaluations of customer engagements
  • Assist in response to functional and technical elements of RFPs / RFIs
  • Analyze customer specifications and architect / develop potential solutions based on DigiCert PKI / IoT / Signing solutions and services
  • Capture feature request input from prospects / customers to provide to Product Management teams
  • Effectively manage projects through planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Work independently and in conjunction with other members of the sales team and cross-functional teams
  • Provide training and documents to DigiCert staff regarding product offerings and solutions, as needed
  • Present technical topics at field events such as conferences seminars when required
  • Territories : EMEA
  • WHAT YOU HAVE :

  • Tertiary qualification in Systems Management, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or CISSP certification
  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security with a strong emphasis on PKI
  • Native, bi-lingual or business proficiency in English
  • Firm understanding of cryptographic concepts : symmetric / asymmetric cryptography, hash algorithms, digital signatures, etc
  • Experience with certificate-enabled applications, such as SSL / TLS, S / MIME, Code Signing, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of PKI concepts, practices & protocols
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs), secure chips, and secure key storage
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on familiarity with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and related components (advantageous)
  • Strong technical writing skills (advantageous)
  • Large enterprise IT consulting, administration, or support experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of developing against REST and SOAP APIs (advantageous)
  • Understanding of certificate setup for EAP and PEAP Wi-Fi solutions (advantageous)
  • Hands-on experience with setting up certificates on routers, load balancers, SSL inspection devices and web services like Microsoft IIS, Apache, and Tomcat (advantageous)
  • Hands-on experience with signing applications using code signing certificates (advantageous)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware security modules (HSMs)
