Paraplanner , Umhlali, KZN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThe Paraplanner role be broken down into four key parts : 1 Preparing and maintaining the client file2 Preparing recommendations3 Implementing recommendations4 Review1 Preparing and maintaining the client file : Generally the Financial Adviser / Planner should collect the qualitative information client attitudes, lifegoals etc leaving the paraplanner to collect all the quantitative detailed information required tocompile a financial plan.

The Paraplanner attend client meetings. Specific Activities include : - Check all compliance paperwork is present- Confirm client risk profile is determined-

Discuss client objectives with Financial Adviser / Planner- Holding client meetings at the office or out of the office- Identify and obtain the information necessary to compile financial cash flow forecast-

Compile draft net worth statement; income and expenditure statements and financial cashflow forecast and discuss with Financial Adviser / Planner2 Preparing recommendations : -

Identify areas for planning- Undertake research both independently and with the Financial Adviser / Planner to identify suitablesolutions to meet the client's needs-

Prepare information / comparisons for analysis by Financial Adviser / Planner- Liaise with client's legal and tax advisers if applicable-

Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client riskprofile- Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed / signed off by Financial Adviser / Planner3 Implementing recommendations : -

Prepare suitability letters in accordance with the agreed recommendations- Complete application / proposals forms- Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order-

Make changes to clients' investments as instructed- Implement the chosen investment strategies4 Review : - Act as main point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties througheffective communication-

Establish and build strong relationships with clients and attend client meetings with FinancialAdvisor / Planner if required-

Organise future planning meetings with client- Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc- Send planning figures to client for update and revision in preparation for meeting-

Initiate review meetings with clientsKey Skills / Experience Required : - Understanding of the Financial Planning process & industry-

NQF 5 / 6 Wealth Management Compulsory- R.E 5 Compulsory- System knowledge of Astute & X-Plan Advantageous- 1 - 3 Years of relevant experience-

Able to work within defined business processes- Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision- Prioritise and plan own workload-

Detailed and accurate- Articulate- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively-

Good IT skills- Good report writing skills- Ability to work independently and in a team- Organisational Ability- Problem-

Solving Skills- Planning & Innovation Skills- Appreciation of the mission of The Robert Group- To provide assistance, in any way needed, to the Managing Director and Business Administrator tosupport their function within the company.
