Our client requires the service of a Learning & Development Specialist to support the Training & Development departments purpose, vision and mission by creating blended learning interventions that support employee growth and the establishment of a learning culture within the company.
Key performance areas : ?Design, development and implementation of blended curricula for employees, field management and head office employees.
Design, development and facilitation of workshops for Managers, Field Managers and head office employees.?Talent pipeline development plans for field and head office employees.
Design early morning training sessions.?Design and development of e-learning lessons for employees, field management and head office employees.
Maintaining relationships with Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts at all levels in the business.?Management of the learning journey for employees at all levels in the business.
Implementation of various learning strategies depending on the need and the role of the employee or group of employees.?
Participate in Organisational Development projects such as team & culture building and leadership development.The successful candidate must have : ?
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification?At least 5 years experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, preferably within the retail sector.
Experience in project management with the proven ability to create structure, manage and influence various role players and meet deadlines.
Experience in Graphic Design will be advantageous ?Must have extensive experience in building BLENDED curricula for various levels - from a Sales Assistant to a senior manager (leadership development).
Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to explain things in a simplistic and effective manner.?Ability to maintain strong relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) & Stakeholders at all levels in the business.
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels - CEO to Sales Assistant.?Proven experience in conducting a needs analysis to determine an employees career path, developmental needs (talent mapping) and then creating / sourcing learning interventions to support this.
Proven experience working with a LMS and an authoring tool.?Facilitation experience at all levels of the business with a range of topics;
from team building to leadership training.?Proven ability to engage with learners and stakeholders across the business (academic cuddling).
Attention to detail is of extreme importance.?Being able to solve problems in a creative and collaborative way.?Ability to work independently.
