To provide transformational leadership, guidance and direction by supporting the business in the delivery of end-to-end strategic objectives, in line with Nedbank's Value Proposition.

To originate business opportunities, generate income and sales in chosen market segments by enabling the crafting and delivery of client value propositions, business solutions across product, channels and value-added offerings to achieve Nedbank's strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver Transactional NII & NIR, EP generating GOI (Gross Operating Income), primary Bank wins, CIB commercial deposit and Short-Term Asset targets.
  • Ensure execution of divisional sales strategy by adhering to Short-Term Asset targets.
  • Conduct market research, benchmarking and research industry best practices relevant to CVP's to keep abreast of competitor activities.
  • Provide sales intelligence and solutions by conducting industry / sector benchmarking and legislative research.
  • Present findings to key business committees (pricing, sales pipeline, business case forums) by collecting relevant data.
  • Deliver service to clients by ensuring client expectations are understood and met.
  • Track and monitor the achievement of goals within the function, taking corrective action as required.
  • Improve Transactional Services’ sales and customer insights policies / procedures by reviewing and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage risk by providing input to policy and procedure formulation, issuing guidelines, participating in interpretation of legislation and proactively managing changes on an ongoing basis.
  • Build capability pertaining to business solution formulation and CVP's across the business to align with sectors.
  • Create a culture that drives the Cluster's and Nedbank's strategy, vision and values.
  • Provide strong leadership and build a differentiated a high-performance culture through effective management of resources, development and the retention of talent.
  • People Specification Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Professional Qualifications / Honour’s Degree
  • Preferred Qualification

  • Honours degree (Accounting / Commerce / Engineering)
  • Masters degree will be advantageous
  • Type of Exposure
