Insurance Company in Johannesburg seeking a Payment Administrator.*Responsible for making all payment*Responsible for communications with the bank*Capturing all manual entries (e.g.
refunds, admin fees, etc) and allocating them accordingly to the different GL accounts.*Posting batches to the relevant cashbooks.
Reconciliation of claims accounts to bank statements.*Handling of all queries with regards to the above cashbooks.*Ensuring that the relevant cashbooks balance to the trial balance.
Ensuring that any discrepancies / anomalies are followed up and reported on.*Completing of cheques and maintaining the cheque register.
Daily communication with different departments with regards to any queries that may arise.*Processing of basic journals to the general ledger.
Maintaining the fixed assets register.*Able to assist in other areas when colleagues are on leave.
