Job Description :

This position involves indirect and direct interaction with company customers. The role includes handling all incoming order, queries and complaints by customers (telephonically, electronically, face to face and other forms over electronic communication).

This role also aides the sales team in sourcing new accounts as well as driving growth for existing customers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Answering of incoming calls and giving the customer the appropriate consultant and / or information
  • Administration of incoming orders and ensuring that all related paperwork is completed on time
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers
  • Managing all customer issues and resolving of complaints
  • Regular following up on orders placed and keeping the customer informed on their order status
  • Assisting with the onboarding process of new customers
  • Providing product / sales information
  • Key account monitoring
  • Sales support
  • Production support
  • Management support
  • Educational requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • A tertiary qualification in optometry or ophthalmic dispensing advantageous
  • Experience and skills required :

  • Optical knowledge preferable
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
