Showroom Consultant- Polokwane
Our client in the sanitary ware sector is seeking to employ a experienced showroom consultant.
The Consultant will be based in the showroom and be required to work as part of the showroom team to assist in closing deals with clients coming into the showroom to purchase tiles, taps, sanitary ware, accessories etc.
for new projects or renovations
The luxury brand with a showroom environment that is high-end and clientele requiring service par excellence and consultants often going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and brand integrity.
Showroom consultants must have a flair for design and be able to work on large domestic projects where house plans will be measured, and quantities of products calculated during the quoting and invoicing process.
There may be telephonic canvassing involved within the showroom as well as contacting professionals in the industry to solicit business for the showroom.
As part of the showroom team, maintenance of the showroom with regards to general tidiness, designing and assisting with new displays, pricing and other POS material will form part of this position.
3 years of customer service experience
Ability to meet set monthly sales targets consistently as well as meet deadlines for showroom tasks
Capable working in both a team environment and individually.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong mathematic skills.
A passion for design and creative thinking.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Own Transport with a valid driver’s license preferable.
Ability to multitask.
Remuneration will be negotiable based on candidates experience
No commission structure but profit share scheme applicable once employee becomes permanent.
Contribution from company to medical aid and provident fund.
Working hours from Mon Sun, five off days per month. Two consecutive and the three other individual days spread through month as schedule allows.
