Manage financial and statutory compliance for all entities within the sales area
Manage the maintenance and governance of key financial policies and processes, and general accepted Sandvik processes.
Manage the overall financial compliance of all entities in relation to, but not limited o, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, IFRS, Income Act, VAT Act, King Code, Treasury Covenant.
Manage the preparation of annual financial statements for all respective entities in accordance with the applicable financial framework and audit requirements.
Manage statutory governance and compliance in accordance with Company’s Act, Income Tax Act and all other pertinent legislation in relation to the SLA’s for other legal entities within the Sandvik Group.
Manage requisite transfer pricing governance in accordance with income tax and Reserve Bank requirements.
Manage treasury activities inclusive of controls, risk management, compliance and operational support to business
Provide support in the management and coordination of external shareholders relationships.
Manage and coordinate the preparation of all financial reports for board meetings & audit committee meetings
Manage the preparation of information for the BBBEE audits.
Manage current ERP systems, upgrades and changes in ERP structures inclusive of new system implementations, as well as expanded changes on current systems according to the Business Area.
Customer credit control
Oversee and Control all financial data integrity on Financial Reporting & close
Tax review and compliance
Insurance portfolio management
Manage the implementation, maintenance, and assessment of internal controls
Leadership of the Financial Control Organization
Minimum Skills and Qualifications :
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :
CA SA + 6 years post articles Financial management experience
5 years in Senior Financial Controls position
Computer literacy : BPC reporting; System 21; MS Office - Excel Advanced, Outlook and Word; SAP BPC
Administration : Skills Time Management, Advanced Financial Calculations, Advanced Financial Reporting, Policies and Processes, People Management, Business Planning
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :
Detailed knowledge of all financial policies, procedures and processes, capital expenditure, contract management legal aspects, income statements, balances sheets, ;
reporting ; internal controls IFRS and Tax, Income tax and local legislations.
