A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
Appropriate recognised post-graduate qualification
Expert understanding of the BCEA (Basic Conditions of Employment Act), LRA (Labour Relations Act) and COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act)
Excellent understanding of salary structuring
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word)
Minimum of seven years experience as an HR generalist in a management position
Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English with report writing skills and compilation ability

This is a group function which is responsible for all human resources functions for two businesses which employ approximately 700 employees based mainly in Durban and Johannesburg.
Prior experience in the Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods sectors will be a definite advantage.
