Automotive Process / Quality Systems Manager, Rosslyn, R50 75 K tcc p.m.

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, prefer manufacturing or Mechanical
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience managing a certified quality management system .
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical processes)
  • Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing
  • environment.

  • Experience in the automotive industry will be preferred.
  • Customer quality assurance
  • Previous audit experience .
  • ISO 45001
  • FMEA & Control Plans
  • Problem solving techniques
  • Microsoft Office
  • Responsible for fulfilling the role of Quality Manager; this is a hands-on position. Ensure

    the quality of the parts produced meet all customer expectations / standards; quickly

    and effectively take action when non-conformances are found. Maintain the most

    recent interpretations of the quality system / process requirements and therefore

    ensure that documented practices meet the true interpretation of the quality

    management system standards.


    Collaborate with customers’ quality and engineering and production. Make

    recommendations to support cost effective production.

    Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality


    Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and materials related issues.

    Resolve quality issues, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and

    providing support.

    Effectively communicate and reinforce quality improvement efforts.

    Submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents for new product launches

    and engineering changes according to customer requirements.

    Review and analyze process and capability studies results. Recommend changes to

    processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.

    Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

    Create Control Plans and FMEA's to support throughout the life of the part.

    Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root

    cause analysis and successful corrective action.

    Perform duties in accordance with quality system requirements.

    Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Tool room to resolve customer

    complaints and concerns.
